The Story Behind Лъвски®
Growing up on the streets of Bulgaria during the 1990s, I spent my days drawing with chalk on concrete, getting into street fights, and idolizing action heroes. I was a spirited kid with a childhood full of scrapes, sunshine, and imagination.
My love for drawing runs deep — it’s in my DNA. When I got accepted into a prestigious art high school known for its creative and disciplined students — many of whom were also Kyokushin fighters — I found the perfect fusion of art, spirit, and physical training. That duality became my foundation.
In time, my need for visual expression evolved into something wearable. I began designing t-shirts and hoodies to inspire myself and others. That’s how Лъвски®, a fusion of soul, art, and strength, came to life.

Meaning of the Design: ЛЪВСКИ® – The Reimagined Russian Emblem
This hand-drawn ЛЪВСКИ® design is a raw, unapologetic interpretation of the Russian imperial coat of arms — transformed into a symbol of defiance, memory, and cultural fracture.
At its core stands the double-headed eagle, an ancient Slavic symbol of power, vigilance, and duality — one head facing the past, the other watching the future. But this eagle no longer guards a throne — it guards legacy, struggle, and silence.
Clutched in its claws are the traditional scepter and orb, now rendered with sharp precision and darker undertones — no longer symbols of monarchy, but of control, consequence, and conflict.
In the center of its chest, where once the tsar’s shield stood, is now a Russian Orthodox church — gold-domed and iconic. It speaks of faith, but also of the heavy intertwining of religion, identity, and power. It is both sacred and burdened.
Surrounding the entire design is a crown of barbed wire — a brutal modern addition. It cages the emblem, invoking the pain of prisons, exiles, and the internal war between national pride and personal freedom. It’s a silent scream from behind a symbol once meant to command.
This isn’t a celebration of empire — it’s a confrontation with it. A design for those who wear history not as decoration, but as truth. For those who know what it means to bear weight and still walk tall.
